Emeritus Professor Meredith Edwards AM was Founding Director of the National Institute for Governance at the University of Canberra until 2004 and its Deputy Vice-Chancellor from August 1997 to August 2002. Before joining UC in 1997, Professor Edwards was Deputy Secretary in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and prior to that was involved in a range of major social policy reforms from 1983-1993.
Elaine Bensted is Deputy Chief Executive, Employment and Training Services, Department for Further Education, Employment Science and Technology. She has responsibility for TAFE SA, Traineeship and Apprenticeship Services, Employment Programs and Corporate Communications.
Percy Allan lives in Sydney and advises on public policy, finance and management.
He has helped national and local governments in China, India, Thailand, Mongolia, Philippines, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and the Pacific Islands to reform their financial management.
